Library rules

Members can borrow ten items. Books can be borrowed for four weeks, audio and video for two weeks and musical CDs, CD-ROMs and DVDs for one week. Older copies of magazines can be borrowed for two weeks.

Reference materials are to be studied in the library, but in special cases can be borrowed for home study for short period, too.

In case of late returns the members can be charged CZK 1,- for each item unit per a day past the due date.

Material that is requested by another member cannot be renewed.

In case of loss or serious damage to any items borrowed from the Centre, the borrower will have to replace it or pay the cost of its replacement. It is strictly prohibited to write any notes to books.

It‘s available to make copies from British Centre materials (a single copy of a part of a book for private study). Copyright rule must be respected when using all other materials (audiocassettes, videocassettes,…).
